    3. Use Place Value

    Volume 3:

    1. Counting Strategies: Counting On

    2. Counting Strategies: Using parts or equal groups to count sets

    3. Comparing numbers (1-100) using commonly known vocab such as "more than", "less than" etc and also the counting strategies learnt above

    Volume 4:

    1. Classify or sort objects into a given group/category based on count { objects could be groups of stars, asterisks, dots, circles, triangles etc}. Count/Add to find out the total of the objects in a particular group or category.

    2. Demonstrate, using concrete materials or manipulatives, the concept of conservation of number

    3. Relate numbers to the anchors of 5 and 10, i,e 4 as 5-1, 6 as 5+!, 9 as 10-1 and 5+4, 8 as 10-2 and 5+3.

    Volume 5:

    1. Understand the inverse relationship between addition and subtraction(using numbers upto 20) and use familiar language to describe this relation ex" "opposite", "ulta" etc.

    2. Create and solve problems in context (eg: a grocery, playground etc) that involve addition and subtraction, composing and decomposing numbers. [Use screened tasks].

    3. Estimate the number of objects in a set and verify later by counting them.

    Volume 6:

    1. Add and subtract by 10 starting from multiples of 10 and less than 100. Answer q's such as "What is 70 -10 equal to?".

    2. Add and subtract 10 from a given two digit number.

    3. Add and subtract multiples of 10 from a) a multiple of 10 b) any two digit number.

    Volume 7:

    Measurement foundations:

    1. Define mass. Estimate quantities using non standard units. ex: "How many glasses of water is present in a bottle?",

    2. Understand describe things, objects and people based on measurable attributes such as big, small, tall, short, fat, slim, long, heavy, light b) Sort things based on measurable attributes.

    Volume 8:

    Measurement foundations

    1. Order and compare three or more similar objects according to their physical attributes (ex: using sticks, boxes or other 3D objects, ropes, bottles etc).

    2. Define length. Use non standard quantities ex: "How many scales/rulers are needed to measure your height?" etc. Express the length of one object as a number of units of other objects (ex: a 30 cm scale is TWO 15 cm scales long without any gaps/overlaps)

    Volume 9:

    Time
    1. Understand concept of time and duration
    2. Days of the week
